    Company Documentation

    • Forms completed and signed by all subscribers appointed on the board resolution/power of attorney. Please find attached
    • Letter requesting the account opening, specifying the currency, naming the subscribers and its conditions of movement. Please print on company letterhead, stamp and signed by the authorized person.
    • Commercial certificate, issued less than 3 months
    • Articles of association published on Boletim da República
    • Alvará/License to  operate
    • Entitys NUIT
    • Board resolution deliberating about the account(s) opening - currency, naming the subscribers, conditions of movement OR power of attorney. Must be notarized.

    If you need accounts in a foreign currency, please also fill, sign and stamp (company’s stamp) the form attached “ Formulario de abertura de conta em moeda estrangeira”

    Subscribers

    • Identification documents
    • Proof of residence, can be a letter from the company, please find draft attached to use to fill the addresses, print on company´s letterhead, stamp and sign

    Shareholders and ultimate beneficiaries

    • Organization chart of the shareholding structure in order to identify the ultimate beneficiary of the capital, to better advice on the documents to be provided for the ultimate beneficiaries owners, the brances of the chart should continue until it stops on people or listed companies. Please print on company letterhead, stamp and signed by the authorized person.
    • Identification documents and prove of residence for the shareholders and ultimate beneficiaries with 10% or more of the share capital
    • Incorporation and registration documents for the shareholders (companies) and ultimate beneficiaries with 10% or more of the share capital.

  • Important notes

    1. Our law of the Central Bank requires that all documentation be in Portuguese 

    2. If the documentation is produced abroad it must be previously:
    • authenticated by a notary public in the country of origin
    • certified by the office of foreign affairs (or equivalent authority)
    • certified by the Mozambican consulate with jurisdiction over the relevant country
