  • How to register (new user)

    1.  Visit www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select Internet Banking
    3. Click register
    4. Select whether you are a Retail Banking or Business Banking Client.
    5. Enter customer information and accept the terms and conditions
    6. You receive an OTP via SMS
    7. Enter OTP and click next
    8. Create username and password on the password confirmation screen
    9. Click next
    10. You will see a confirmation screen
    11.  Contact the customer line/wait for the customer line call to complete with activation/finalize activation at the branch

  • How to buy airtime

    1. Open the Absa Mozambique Mobile App on your device
    2. Insert your login credentials or fingerprint
    3. Select "Buy airtime" on top left of the screen
    4. Select "New airtime purchase"
    5. Enter beneficiary name
    6. Select the mobile network operator (Vodacom/ Movitel/ Tmcel) and enter mobile number
    7. Select “save for future use” and click continue
    7. Choose account from which you want to buy
    8. Enter the amount
    9. Enter and confirm the OTP you received via SMS/approves or rejects the transaction with the notification you will receive on your mobile phone
    10. Confirm the transaction.

  • How to buy electricity

    1. Open the Absa Mobile app on your device
    2. Insert your credentials or fingerprint
    3. Select “payment a bill“
    4. Select Pay a New Biller
    5. Electricity
    6. Enter the Credelec meter number
    7.Select “save beneficiary for future use”
    8. Enter the beneficiary's name and click continue
    9. Select the account from which you want to make the payment
    10. Enter the value and click continue
    11. Enter and confirm the OTP you received via SMS/approves or rejects the transaction with the notification you will receive on your mobile phone
    12. Confirm the transaction

  • How to pay a bill

    1. Open the Absa Mobile app on your device
    2. Insert your credentials or fingerprint
    3. Select “payment a bill“
    4. Select Pay a New Biller
    5.Choose one of the billers
    6. Enter the Reference number
    7. Select the account from which you want to make the payment
    8. Enter the value and click continue
    9. Enter and confirm the OTP you received via SMS/approves or rejects the transaction with the notification you will receive on your mobile phone
    10. Confirm the transaction

  • How to do a fund transfer to an Absa account

    1. Open the Absa Mobile app on your device
    2. Insert your credentials or fingerprint
    3. Select “transact” at the bottom left of the screen
    4. Select "Absa to Absa"
    5. Select Pay a new beneficiary
    6. Enter the account number and click on “Lookup account holder”
    7. Select “save beneficiary for future use” and click on continue
    8. Select the account to be debited from
    9. Choose the currency, enter the amount and description of the transfer
    10. Enter and confirm the OTP you received via SMS/approves or rejects the transaction with the notification you will receive on your mobile phone

  • How to pay your Absa credit card

    1. Open the Absa Mobile App on your device
    2. Insert your login credentials or finger print
    3. Click on the option “Payment for Services”
    4. Choose the option “Credit Card Payment”
    5. Enter the requested details and click on the “continue” option
    6. Select the account
    7. Enter the value you want
    8. Click on the “send” option.

  • How to download a proof of payment

    1. Open the Mobile Banking App on your device
    2. Click on “Menu”
    3. Select "Transaction History"
    4. Select the type of transaction you want to obtain the proof of payment
    5. Choose the desired transaction
    6. Download to your phone or share with anyone you want.
